We are wrapping up week 1 of Kids in the Kitchen Cooking Camp! The campers have learned more than cooking skills this week. June, our Community Impact Summer Intern, has had a blast with the campers this week! Mariann, one of our awesome hygienists, spoke about how food and beverage choices affect oral health. She also demonstrated what a visit to the dentist can look like. Inspections are critical to preventing illness and injury, involving checks on water quality, safety equipment, emergency phones, and the integrity of fences and gates.
