Our recent peer-reviewed study confirmed CuraLinc’s EAP delivers a $5.39:1 return on investment. But that number reflects something deeper. Behind every ROI is a human moment. ??It’s a new employee who found the courage to ask for help—and a Care Advocate who answered on the first ring. It’s a manager who learned how to spot the signs—and helped save a team member from burning out. Yes, the data is compelling. But what really matters is what happens when the right care shows up at the right time. CuraLinc’s ROI isn’t just about tracking sessions—it’s about changing outcomes. And when outcomes change, so do lives—and businesses. ?? Learn more at curalinc.com/roi.

When it comes to mental health benefits, too often decision makers are left without the data they need—forced to navigate vague promises instead of clear, meaningful outcomes. We believe employers deserve better. That’s why we partnered with Mark Attridge, PhD to conduct the largest peer-reviewed study of its kind, analyzing more than 166,000 cases and published in the International Journal of Scientific and Research Publications.? Today, we’re proud to share the results. Our EAP and mental health programs deliver an average $5.39:1 ROI, with a tangible impact on both people and productivity: Here’s what that looks like:? ?79% of participants at risk for depression or anxiety recovered to no longer be at risk? ?67% at risk for hazardous alcohol use recovered to no longer be at risk? ?61% with high lost productivity improved, cutting lost work hours from 57.3 to 16.4/month?? ?99.5% resolved concerns within the EAP, avoiding higher-cost medical care As employers face rising benefit costs and mounting pressure to prove impact, this study sets a new benchmark for clarity and accountability. ?? ?? A recent SHRM survey found that 51% of workers whose jobs have had a negative or very negative impact on their mental health in the last six months are actively seeking a new job. Unfortunately, just 45% of HR professionals say their organizations provide educational resources on mental health. ?? The right support=resilience. Providing resources, tools, and training that meet the unique needs of your employees is essential to making mental health an integral part of company culture. Here are some actions employers can take to make a difference: ? Communicate mental health resources and tools your employees have access to—year-round and across multiple channels. Not all employees access information in the same way. ? Train both managers and individual contributors to recognize signs of distress and how to offer meaningful support. Today’s individual contributors can be tomorrow’s company leaders. Build a strong foundation. ? Create consistent, meaningful opportunities for connection and recognition to help foster stronger teams. Simple gestures like celebrating milestones and encouraging peer shoutouts can go a long way in reducing isolation, building trust, and making sure employees feel valued. ? Measure outcomes, not just utilization. It’s not just about offering a benefit, but understanding its impact on absenteeism, productivity, and overall wellbeing—and continuously improving it. Taking intentional steps like these can help create a culture where mental health is supported, people feel safe to reach out, and teams are stronger and more resilient.
