?? Hands Off Housing!?? As Congress finalizes the FY26 federal budget, we’re standing with Supportive Housing Network of New York and Housing Works to call for full funding for critical housing programs: ? Homeless Assistance Grants (CoC) – $4.922B ? HOPWA – $750M ? Rental Assistance & Public Housing Trump’s FY26 budget proposal will effectively end Permanent Supportive Housing as we know it. It would slash HUD funding by 44%, eliminate Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) and cut major components of the Continuum of Care (CoC) program. These cuts would be devastating — especially in New York. While House and Senate subcommittees have pushed back on some of the proposed cuts, the process isn’t over. The current budget deal expires September 30th — and time is running out. We need Congress to act: Reject these cuts. Fully fund housing. Lives depend on it. #HandsOffHousing #SaveSupportiveHousing #SaveHOPWA #HousingIsAHumanRight #HousingFirst #SupportiveHousingSavesLives #EndHomelessness
