We just turned Berlin into a giant, fashion-fueled playground for families! ?? For 15 years, our Kids category has been growing into a holistic Kids & Family destination where customers of all ages and life stages are served in a distinct, inspiring, and engaging way. Our vision? Moving beyond just transactions to build lasting relationships and become a go-to partner for every family fashion need. This July, we had the incredible chance to meet our family customers IRL! We transformed Berlin’s iconic Tempelhof airport into a high-energy, fashion-fuelled playground for tweens & teens. Over an action-packed weekend, we welcomed 6,000 young guests and their parents. They got to explore, dive into hands-on workshops, and jump into exciting games that tested their creativity, skills, and style. The event was brought to life by Zalando Marketing Services in partnership with amazing brands: Nike brought the football energy, Tommy Hilfiger turned up the speed on the racing track, Jordan took it to the air with the dunk zone, New Balance sparked creativity in the DIY studio, Champion served arcade games and live stitching, and Yourturn offered customisation and collaborative art walls. The energy at our Christopher Street Day 2025 Kick Off Party was absolutely electric! Our LGBTQIA+ Employee Resource Group (ERG) pulled off an unforgettable event for over 175 of our colleagues, including the community and allies, setting the perfect tone for this year's celebrations. Attendees jumped into some incredible workshops throughout the evening! A huge thank you to Shona Neary (Counter Cult) for the creative badge workshop, Sharon S Karen for a fun and informative beginner drag workshop, and ?????Stella B. & collective for the amazing drag workshop and performance! We were also incredibly thrilled to have our Chief People Officer and LGBTQIA+ ERG Sponsor, Astrid Arndt, open the event with an inspiring speech, setting an example for how we champion diversity and inclusion at Zalando. This couldn't have happened without incredible collaboration from so many people. A huge shout-out to Lukas Radewahn and Astrid Spengler from the Events Team who brought our vision to life. Celebrating Queer Language ??? This Pride, Zalando is proud to launch Mother Tongue, our global campaign that explores the power, culture, and confidence of queer language. Inspired by this initiative, we're bringing the celebration closer to home with our internal "Celebrating Queer Language" project at Zalando. Our employees are contributing to a physical mural in our reception area – a living, evolving representation of the queer community's language and experiences.
