At Irambo and Majengo Health Centers, they provide vital services, including emergency care, HIV treatment, and medical support for vulnerable communities. Despite the challenges, they remain committed to offering critical healthcare. The Missouri Conference Center in Columbia is transitioning to solar power. Approved by the Conference Trustees in the spring of 2024, the installation of solar panels commenced in December. Jeff Atkinson, Chair of the Missouri Conference Board of Trustees, shared, 'The Board is enthusiastic about this initiative. Beyond its cost-effectiveness, installing solar panels exemplifies our Christian responsibility to steward God’s creation. A few times each month, the members of Dalewood United Methodist Church come together to prepare and serve up to one hundred hot meals for the student-athletes at a nearby high school. These meals, offered before football and basketball games, are more than just food; they’re a gesture of community and care that the students carry with them long after graduation.
